Irony? Christmas isn't originally religion-related holiday. :P

True that some people celebrate "the birth of christ" on December 25th nowadays. But these people do not realize couple things like;
1) The date of Jesus' birth can not be found anywhere in the bible,
2) The bible clearly prohibits cutting a tree and decorating it (Jeremiah 10:2-4),
3) The roots of celebrating December 25th comes from long before christianity and Jesus.

December 25th has quite fascinating story behind it; It was originally just Germanics' winter festival named 'Yule'. The reason for celebrating was the rebirth of sun. Then the festival was later adopted by the Romans and they named the festival after their god, 'Saturnalia'. Then they were followed by the Greeks, which named the festival after their god and so on. :XD: (There's not many articles I could find in English, but if you're interested about reading more, here's at least one article [link])

Christmas/Yule is obviously a huge mix of traditions and cultures nowadays (elves, santa claus, decorated tree..), which is why christians can't really claim it to themselves (without contradicting themselves, that is)...

It would be ironic if she gave away gifts denying the significance of the winter solstice. :D

Anyway, here's my regular comment: Very nice pendant! It's a cool concept, and I like the shape of it.

Huh. I guess I usually like black, white, silver/pale gray, and cool colors (as opposed to warm colors, not cool like awesome) like blue, indigo, turquoise, etc. Also, pale, potentially mysterious-looking forms of most colors, but especially cool colors. Again, it depends on the shade and what object the color applies to.
